BUSSE Reitsport

Safety first!

Safety first! But it may as well be comfy and chic.

Equestrians‘ awareness in terms of safety has increased. Wearing a proper helmet when riding is common sense and you can spot riders wearing body or back protectors with increased frequency.

Back protectors are light and flexible and absorb the impact on the back during a fall in order to protect the spine.

Additional protection for the chest can be obtained by wearing a body protector. If well fitted, it reduces the impact on the rips and subjacent organs. In case of an emergency, the hook-and-loop fasteners enable quick and easy removal.

BUSSE’s new body protector BICTON is fitted with a special stringer along the spine for additional protection. The optimised panel placement of a special light-weight foam allows for extra comfort and optimal mobility in riding position.

Important Advice for proper fitting:
When the body protector fits correctly and you have a comfortable feeling, a red hook-and-loop fastener should not be visible neither in the shoulder nor in the waist area.
